1980 Browning Aerocraft Mach II

Page 4, week 4
Miserable heat wave here. Temperature in the 90's and thunderstorms. Didn't get much done this week
Found this strange looking hard stain in a couple of places.
Apparently it was just shellac that had dripped down from the floor above. It cleaned up fine and left pretty FB cloth underneath.

Memo from Browning marine:
Re: Bow Ring
OOPS!! Our highly skilled layup crew didn't wet the FB Roven!
Can we just glue it down with paint? It'll look just fine.

Memo from Browning marine:
We ain't got time to seal or bond the top to the hull, just screw and pop rivit it a few places and cover with the rub rail.

Memo from Browning marine:
Always use rubber strip to isolate and support the gas tank.

Damn, if the foam didn't lift the tank and covered the rubbber strip and everything.

Memo from Browning marine:
Forget the rubber strip, we can save $2.00 there

Here's a well gutted compartment, the plywood will be replaced and epoxy sealed. Notice the nice pink belly flesh. I cut the mouse hole for draining the cuddy well to the bilge Aerocraft pic
